Hotel SANSEbay

What an amazing little boutique hotel. It's punching well above its 2 star rating. The guys at reception were super friendly and helpful, from the welcome drink on. The rooms are clean and chic, the bed is very comfy, the Smart TV is a great touch, shower excellent. The best thing though, is the location. Walk directly into the best pinxto bars in town, to the beach, or jump on a rental bicycle and explore the entire San Sebastian. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend the hotel.

Honestly everything. Great location, great room, nice staff! We booked the apartment and it was perfect for us to do laundry and cool a little. It could have easily fit a family of 4

Everything about the Hotel SANSEbay was exceptional. We originally booked a three night stay in a room with a bay view, but decided to arrive a day early. The room was not available for our new arrival day, but, without our asking, they upgraded us for the first day of arrival. Nice! The staff throughout our stay was extremely accommodating and helpful, even to the point of securing for us a reservation at an excellent restaurant. The room was spacious and extremely quiet. Our stay could not have been better.

We stayed in a spacious two-bedroom apartment that was thoughtfully designed, featuring a fully equipped kitchen (including coffee-making facilities) and two well-appointed bathrooms. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach and the charming old town, where you’ll find the city’s best pintxos and, of course, the iconic original cheesecake. What truly made our stay exceptional was the staff, especially Andrea, who welcomed us with such warmth and genuine hospitality. Her knowledge and helpfulness set the tone for a memorable experience. When we return to San Sebastián, Hotel Sansebay will undoubtedly be our top choice. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our 4-night stay in this nice, modern hotel in the heart of San Sebastian’s old town port area. They kindly upgraded us, and our room was on a higher floor (happily there’s a lift), with a sloped roof (a tall person might bump his head over the desk area) and window looking out on the water/port, with skylight windows above it. (This was lovely, but a larger/wider window would have made the views even better). Our room was spacious, with a big bed, nice desk area, closet area, mini bar fridge, and good modern bathroom with rain shower. The location was great for exploring the town and attending the various “Jazzaldia” jazz festival music events at the nearby venues (and right on the port side). Despite the busy, loud streets outside until late at night, the hotel was incredibly quiet and peaceful. Breakfast in the hotel was excellent and good value – avo on toast, fruit salad, omelets and other options, as well as bread and good coffee. Highly recommended.
