Hotel SANSEbay

The location of this hotel is exceptional. It's slightly removed from the front which affords peace and quiet whilst still being at the heart of the Old Town. The staff were truly professional and very attentive. We pre-booked car parking and the valet removed our car to the underground car park without any fuss whatsoever. A welcome glass of local wine was indeed very welcome and of outstanding quality. The hotel is located in a pedestrianised zone which potentially caused concern. Our concerns were quickly allayed. The hotel sent a video with easy to follow directions to help our arrival. Well done!

We had an apartment, which was very comfortable for our 4 days stay. Location was awesome, close walking distance to all the bars & restuarants in old town. Loved the little bar next door were all the locals would gather for sunset drinks. All the staff were super friendly & very helpful they parked our car in the garage which we booked as it was very tricky... Our airconditioner was leaking water badly, staff came and mopped it and arranged for it to be repaired the next day, unfortunately they couldn't resolve the issue. Our coffee machine didnt work, they tried to fix it, but couldnt so they replaced it, unfortunatley the coffee pods were horrible after all that. Excellent Service !!

Fantastic location with very friendly and helpful staff. We were fortunate to have a room upgrade to an apartment which was located right next to the hotel but much more room and an amazing sea view. Bed was very comfortable with good bathroom facilities. Breakfast offered was perfect as it was a choice off the menu as compared to a set price for buffet. Parking on site was excellent and the contact with the hotel before arrival was excellent (via WhatsApp). This included perfect instructions to get to the hotel as we were driving.

Staff were great; we received a welcome drink on arrival and appreciated that one of the staff spent time with us to explain places (eg. pintxos bars) to visit and recommended where to go to get good views of San Sebastian. Also, the location is perfect; situated in the old town, it is literally a 5min walk to anywhere you need to visit.

Tha location was very good right at the edge of the old town. And in the heart of pintxos heaven . Step out of the hotel and you have a sweeping view of the whole bay . Beautiful sunset views from the bar next door . Staff was very friendly and helpful especially Andrea. The kitchen facilities were good and modern. The washing machine and drying rack was very handy.
